2. Spinning with Veggie Fibres Workshop

From the earthy crinkle of linen, to the luscious drape of bamboo, sample a broad range of plant fibres, while learning how to draw out the best in each of them. This class will cover fibre preparation to finishing on over ten unique fibre types, so you can find some new favourites, and perhaps even master some new techniques!

The skills you will learn are applicable to many other fibres, so you may find that some ‘difficult’ fibres aren’t all that difficult at all after this class. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and learn at a pace that is comfortable for you, while trying a variety of fun and interesting plant based fibres.

Supplies to bring: Spinning wheel, small cup or container (preferably non-breakable), pen or pencil, lap cloth, lazy kate, sealable plastic bag, tools for blending (optional).
